I’m building the world I want to live in.
TrustDavid exists to help owner-operated businesses achieve a level of fluency in their operations that they didn’t realise was possible. AI tools can have a positive compounding effect on the efficiency and speed with which a business can operate. But that should never be the starting point.
The frustrations clients describe aren’t theoretical; they’re the same ones I’ve been solving for myself for over a decade. A small-business owner streamlining systems, automating processes, and ensuring consistent quality outputs.
The tech industry doesn’t have a great reputation when it comes to people. The process matters, but people matter more. The best outcomes happen when people are obsessed with getting it right, in an environment that is healthy for the people doing the work.
The way you do one thing is the way you do everything, and we found, over and over, that precision in the smallest of details translated to precision in bigger ones.
Years of working with a deliberately diverse portfolio — global nonprofits, premium luxury safari brands, SMEs across half a dozen industries — has surfaced one through line. It’s always about finding what makes a brand uniquely itself, and helping its people articulate that in a way that’s unmistakably theirs. Nothing makes me happier than watching a client realise the digital presence they’ve been wrestling with for years is suddenly something they’re proud of, and that the running of the business has gotten easier.
The lines I won't cross, even when it's easier to.
- I refuse to promise what I can't deliver.
- Honest about what's mine and what isn't.
- Good enough is not good enough.
- I show up. I follow through. I communicate.
I want to work with people who are passionate about what they do.
I don’t take on a lot of clients because I commit deeply to matching their passion and dedication to their brand. That also means I say no when we aren’t a good fit. If you’re not the right client, I’ll say so, and point you somewhere better. There’s no commercial advantage in pretending otherwise. The work goes badly, the relationship sours, and everyone walks away worse off.
When I do take your work, you can be confident the answer to “is this the right person for this job?” was yes before I sent the proposal. The selectivity is the proof. When I take it on, I mean it.
Find out if we're a good fit.
A short, honest conversation. If it's right, we'll talk about what comes next. If it isn't, you'll leave with a clearer sense of what you actually need.
